I resisted The Sopranos. I resisted it quite easily for a long time because we didn't have HBO and I really hate stereotyping of Italians. We're not all in the Mob, you know, and just because we know someone who works in the Union doesn't mean we're mobbed up.
But I broke down. I watched it. I got totally hooked. I think it is great fiction, but I'm hooked.
Tonight we watched the new episode that is not officially airing until Sunday. Someone leaked it onto the Internet and oh, someone is totally getting fired at HBO but it was good. It was very good. Foreshadowing, hello.
Much speculation has been made about the final season. My predictions: Adrianne will come back. She didn't actually get shot, that was all off camera. It never actually showed her corpse, right? She will get back with Chris and they will both turn and go into Witness Protection. Tony will realize that his empire is crumbling. Will he turn? That's one I'm not sure about. He loves Chris, probably more than his own son. Can he let that go?
Janice is acting like totally normal in this episode. I liked her better as a crazy ass bitch on wheels.
I've read some message boards about it and they are filled with wild-ass speculations. I think it's going to be much more mundane than anyone thinks.
Woke up this morning, got myself a gun.
Nope, your wrong Lis sorry. I say that there is going to be some kind of throw-down with the NY family. Maybe not an all out war but a throw down of some kind. The FBI RICO thing is going to come to a head and Tony is going to step down. Who will replace him I don't know, but he's clearly had enough and made his $. I think that's about it. As far as Aid coming back, no way, Sil is a reliable soldier he put two in her head just like Tony asked him to.

we stopped watching a while ago, but we were hooked. i love that show, and the theme song. i know not all italians are in the mob, but my dad always seemed to know someone who was. i attended quite a few "business retirement" dinners at the italian american club. we will probably pick it up on netflix...
