Napoleon Dynamite is on Comedy Central.
I love this movie and can watch it over and over. It's funny and charming and I can completely relate to the awkwardness of high school. It's like Christopher Guest movies in that you either get it and think it's hilarious or you don't and think it's strange and stupid.
It also serves as a sort of litmus test: If someone thinks those movies are funny, I know I have something in common with them.
Gosh.
I frickin' LOVE Napoleon Dynamite!! He doesn't even have to say anything, he just looks so funny. The kids love it to, so we've been watching it this weekend too!!

Well, I'm embarrassed to say I haven't seen Napoleon Dynamite. I know I'll love it, though.

I haven't seen it either, Nadine. I totally 'get' the Christopher Guest thing, though.
He was the brother involved in Best in Show, wasn't he? That cracked me right up.

I rented Napoleon Dynamite, and I laughed myself sick. Sweet.
I also got This Is Spinal Tap. Holy jeez, Dana Carvey was a scream.

Okay, I kid you not. I pulled onto the street after returning my movies this morning. "Napoleon Dynamite" and This is Spinal Tap".
I found myself behind a black Prius with "Spinal Tap" written on the bumper in stylized white letters.
The license plate read, "Go 2 11".
