We've struggled with spring here in Michigan this year. It's been unseasonalby cold and rainy, with only a very few nice days.
Granted, we haven't had the monsoon season as we have in years past.
Today was one of those perfect spring Michigan days that can knock your socks off and make you remember, "Oh Yeah. There is a reason why I live in this godforsaken state!."
It's about 70 degrees out with a beautiful blue sky with some random fluffy white clouds and nice although rather brisk breeze since after all ,we are in Michigan ,okay it's like a really strong breeze and I'm being Pollyanna here, get over it.
Hence the Deck Blog. I wish we had wireless so I could actually blog directly on my computer while I am outside but we're lucky we even have DSL out here in the boonies. Actually, I don't mind writing things out in longhand and then typing them. I tend to edit my writing more effectively that way.
I've also just realized that we won't be using our bar-b-que anytime soon. Some robins moved in and are making themselves very cozy raising their family. In fact, after noticing that there were a lot of twigs around the bar-b-que and sticking out of the lid, the Robin Family was very unhappy with me when I lifted the lid.
A special Note To Stacy. I can smell the lilac bushes that divide our property from our unpleasant neighbors. The neighbors are asshats but the lilacs smell wonderful.
Mmmm... that alone might make me move back north.
