Just because you take something out of the oven because it is done cooking does not mean that the oven automatically turns itself off. You must turn it off manually. We do not have a George Jetson oven.
You do this at least three times a week.
Note to self: Always check oven before preheating to make sure yesterday's pizza box is not still inside. This can cause a surprise kitchen fire and require you to run out into the snow covered backyard with said pizza box flaming like mad while you are screaming, "OHHHH SHITTTTT!" while the neighbor who is out smoking on his deck looks on in mild amusement.
in our house its the iron fry pan with bacon greese...

I had people living with me who utilised the "smoke alarm" method of cooking. To do this, you put any food item in a frying pan with lots of grease, and then go and play SIMS until the smoke alarm goes off. Then either eat the results, or throw them out and order a pizza.

What would possess someone to store something made of paper inside of an oven??? I've never understood that. Maybe my Momma taught me right because you don't store ANYTHING in an oven. It is an appliance meant to COOK things, for chrissake!!

That would my husband, Amy. He's too damn lazy to take it out to the dumpster so he hides it in the oven.
