New Category

I know I have far too many categories here and someday in a burst of ambition, I will consolidate some.  In the meantime, I have been inspired by Dooce (a.k.a Heather B. Armstrong) to create a category soley so I can bitch about something. 

Since I feel guity when I don't blog everyday, I think this category will inspire me to blog every single day.

Ten things I have in common with Lisa:
1) I have a biological child.
2) I have an adopted child.
3) I was/am an only child.
4) Both my parents are deceased (I hate that word. They're dead). I loved them both dearly and miss them so much.
5) I use Method cleaning products, I think because I like the packaging and the smell.
6) I am a Target shopper.
7) I love the sun. I love to tan. But unlike Lisa, I slack off in the winter and go back to lily-white. I like myself better tanned.
8) I hate racism. Hate it, hate it. I'm "southern born and southern bred" and love the south. Heck, I want to write "The South". I love it here so much. But I am ashamed of a lot of our past (and some of our present). Very ashamed. Not that racism is limited to the South. Nope, not at all.
9) I live in the boonies.
10) I am a closet reader of the tabloids.

Lisa, I have been reading your blog off and on for a while. We seem to have a lot in common. Keep up the good work. I love being a voyeur!
