Running With Scissors by Augusten Burroughs; Picador, pub.
Parts of this book were very funny. If it is all true, this is really disturbing. It's certainly not what I would call an uplifting book. Augusten Burroughs basically gets abandoned by his mother to her shrink, who is not exactly Mr. Cleaver. Augusten then goes on to have a "relationship" in his early teens with a gay man that borders on pedophelia. I think I need to read this one again. I'm still a bit disturbed and confused by it and don't quite know if I liked it or not.
