We have three dogs. They go through a lot of water. We finally found "Le Bistro" which is basically a water cooler for dogs. It operates on the same principle as people water coolers, except the water is not actually cooled and instead of drinking out of pointy paper cone cups, they drink out of the bowl and there is a certain amount of slobber involved. Gives new meaning to "backwash".
When the dogs run out of water, Max is eager to let us know just how deprived he is. You would think we let them go without water for days, maybe even weeks. This is not the case as we are very conscientious dog owners. Actually, the dogs run the house, we just visit and they begrudgingly tolerate us.
Max used to head to the toilet when he wanted water. He's getting older and lazy now, so he gets a lot more mileage out of laying with his head in the bowl of Le Bistro.
