I have very bad eyesight. I wear contact lenses. I have astigmatism. So of course, the only type of contacts I can wear that correct my astigmatism are the most expensive kind. Of Course. Story of my life.
I know at least a dozen people who had the laser correction surgery. Hell, my half sis went with someone she worked with to Canada, they got the two fer deal, two people, $1200, a great deal.
I am in the same situation as my mother-in-law. She had very bad astigmatism as well. She went to Windsor and they implanted a permanent contact lens between her cornea and something else really gruesome. She still needs cheaters to read the TV Guide. This cost over $5000. But she doesn't wear contacts anymore.
Uh, no thanks. When I had the Red Corvette Accident, my contacts were stuck back behind my eyelids for over two days. I had an ulcer on one cornea. Too much poking about in my eye. I wore my glasses for over 4 months after.
I hate my contact lenses. I hate my glasses even worse. This is a situation where I can only DEAL. I can't see to walk around my own house without vision correction.
It sucks to be me with glasses and contacts. Hate them both.
My hubby has astigmatism too. He only wears glasses, but I like him in them. So, what's the Red Corvette Accident?
